CASE STUDIE
DESCRIPTION OF PERFORMANCE
Waterproofing and coating the vessels of pools, hot tubs and other direct contact with chlorinated water or salt water. With finishes like "beach", completely continuous coatings, made with great rapidity of execution.
The structure of the vessels are the vast majority of concrete or gunite surface mortar. It was necessary prior preparation of these supports to facilitate adherence and continuity of TECNOCOAT P-2049.
Various views of the pools made with the P-2049 TECNOCOAT system.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
The procedure to be followed for this application is as follows:
Phase 1: Preparing the substrate
Milling of the surface: the surface of milled concrete mortar or gunning of the vertical walls to achieve a high adhesion of the system, reducing to zero the air accumulations and therefore the appearance of bubbles or craters on the surface. If necessary also filled voids or areas without material. In this way, we get a continuous surface.
General cleaning: we proceeded to the removal of dust from the preparation work before.
Phase 2: Singular points
Areas such as job boards or expansion, encounters with walls, sinks water supply areas, or other unique elements of the structure or morphology of the work require a focused work to ensure the proper functioning of the system. In this case, work was carried out in the following points:
Phase 3: Implementation of system products TECNOCOAT P-2049
The P-2049 TECNOCOAT system used in this case, was generated by applying the following materials:
ADVANTAGES OF APPLICATION
Because of the type of the execution of the pool of work vessels wet, it takes a coating while ensuring waterproofing offers complete protection against water.
Thus, the factors favorable to the implementation of the system TECNOCOAT P-2049, and decided to put into play against other waterproofing and coating systems, were:
Optimum waterproofing of the entire surface in a continuous manner, without overlaps or together.
